National Schools' Snowsport Week is a compaign delivered by Snowsport England's Youth Development Committee, which aims to develop children's skills and abilities and increases school participation in snowsport.
Following last year's successful pilot (which saw a total of 21 slopes, 149 schools and 1066 children participate in the initiative) we are delighted to announce the National Schools Snowsports Week will be delivered again in 2017.
Save the date for an opportunity to participate in a programme of skiing and snowboarding taster events/activities between the 24th-30th April at your local snowsport facility.
We understand that for some school children, it will be their first time on skies or a snowboard. For others, it could be an opportunity to try racing, freestyle or ski/snowboard-cross.
The experience will be enriching, and will help more young people to become more active and build positive attitudes towards sports and physical activity. For more infomation, please visit the National Schools Snowsport Week website.
