Kylie Minogue has been in showbiz for 27 years, but she revealed that it was only last year, at the age of 45, that she realised she needed to change what she was doing. The Australian pop star explained that she experienced an "epiphany" at the beginning of that she needed to "do things differently" in order to continue with her career. Minogueexplained to a small group of her fans at an event at Facebook's headquarters in London that she "didn't want to become a parody of myself". Minogue said that her change of heart, which was accompanied by a "vision of a horizon with nothing on it, and a feeling of calm", came at a big time of change, notably a shift in her management.
